our rich history

FROM 1907 TO PRESENT

Constructed in 1907 for the Lutheran Synod of South Carolina, this historic building was transformed in 1948 by architect Harold Saxelby, showcasing a Streamline Moderne pleated stucco façade. It has housed prominent businesses like Haverty's and Kimbrell's Furniture, and now, after a comprehensive rehabilitation in 2013, it stands as an elegant event venue. The building retains one of Main Street’s last vertical neon signs, adding to its nostalgic charm.
